ABOUT US

Building People Through DISCIPLESHIP, Development, and True Community

You will discover many exciting opportunities at The Living Room. This page is just the introduction to the spirit of our church, and to the mission for which God has called us.

Our goal is to disciple believers in God's Word, train and equip them for the work of the ministry (Kingdom influence in the
7 Mountains of Culture), and minister to our communities, states, and the nations of the world.

We want you to feel at home and comfortable here. We are not looking for members. In fact, if you are a member of a local church body, we encourage you to continue that relationship and support that church with your attendance and finances.

We are here to make disciples! For those who are tired of religion, hungry for revival, and have a desire to grow in God's Word,
The Living Room is for you.

Our desire is to come alongside you and your family and be an added resource and blessing.

We are all a part of the His Body, and are pleased to welcome you as we follow Christ.

There’s a place for you here at The Living Room.

What We Believe

THE LIVING ROOM STATEMENT OF FAITH

The Bible:

We believe the Bible to be the complete Word of God.

We believe the Bible is inspired and empowered by God, infallible, and authoritative.

That the Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and conduct · 2 Timothy 3:16

God:

We believe in one God, Creator of all, holy, eternal, existing in three Persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit

Jesus Christ:

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life as He walked among men, demonstrated the authority and power of God in works and speech, died on the cross, rose from the dead on the third day, and is now seated at the right hand of God having accomplished all that is necessary for man’s salvation, healing, freedom, and abundant living.

The Holy Spirit:

We believe the Holy Spirit is continuing the work He started at Pentecost empowering believers to live a godly life and continue in all the works of Jesus.

Salvation:

We believe it is essential for man to repent of sin and by faith receive the finished work of Christ by confessing Him as Lord with his mouth and believing in his heart resulting in regeneration by the Holy Spirit.

THE CHURCH:

We believe the true Church is composed of all born-again believers in Christ, regardless of denominational affiliation.

THE GREAT COMMISSION:

We believe all born-again believers have been commissioned to share the complete Gospel to all the world AND give themselves to making disciples.

Our Values

1. CHRIST-CENTEREDNESS

We reject the "me-centered" emphasis that currently dominates the church landscape. Our quest is to know HIM and make Him known in all the earth, therefore we choose to draw near to Him, knowing He will in turn draw near to us.

2. DISCIPLESHIP AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

Every Christ-follower should have as his/her goal to be deeply grounded in God's Word, and to be consistently focused on developing their gifts, talents, and unique abilities for the application of their God-given purpose and assignment.

3. RELATIONAL vs. Institutional Christianity

The institutional model emphasizes large gatherings, expensive buildings, and a hierarchical approach to ministry in the Body. The Living Room model emphasizes our deep need to be connected in a symbiotic relationship one with another, and in deep, intimate fellowship with Jesus.

4. Promoting a BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW

In a world where subjectivity and moral relativism shape our conversations and our culture, we value God's Word (the Bible) as being the only real source for truth, justice, and hope. We seek to know, understand, and live by the spiritual laws, values, and success principles contained in this timeless and inspired Book.

Affiliations/Relationships

The Living Room Ministry Project values Godly associations and partnerships. In fact, we understand that in order to fulfill the assignment God has given us, He has orchestrated specific relationships for this season for the purpose of agreement, resources, and blessing. The following organizations represent some of the key relationships we are aligned and partnered with for such a time as this.

It is good and pleasant to (walk) together in unity with like-minded believers. This non-denominational fellowship provides support to ministries all over the world. We are blessed to be yoked with ARMI (The Associaton of Related Ministries International), an extension of AWMI and Charis Bible College.

More than ever before Christian believers must engage in turning our nation back to God, and to the principles upon which it was founded. We are proud to be aligned with Patriot Academy and other organizations in educating, training, and exhorting the Body of Christ to step into its leadership role.

Quest is an invitation. A call to step away from the busyness of life and into a time with God that is personal, powerful, and unlike anything you’ve experienced before. Whether you feel stuck, weary, or just sense there’s more, God is calling you to come away with Him. And when you do, you won’t be the same.
